PEDRITO CALVO JR. y su ORQUESTA

PEDRITO CALVO JUNIOR, son of the great and famous Cuban singer PEDRITO CALVO, was born on the 4th of March 1979 in Havana, Cuba. He starts his musical studies in year 1993 in the musical elementary school Guillermo Tomas de Guanabacoa, in Cuba, specially in guitar and singing. His professional career in Cuba starts with being part of various musical groups like  "LM SOBREDOSIS","LA FARANDULA","CHARANGA FOREVER" and for 5 years "PEDRITO CALVO y LA JUSTICIA", the orchestra of his father, where he participated in various CD tapings of the orchestra.

His career has grown from year to year, gaining a great presence on stage with a waste experience by working in musicals and shows like "Paradise Road", "Mango Tropical Cafe" and all kind of concerts.
Pedrito Calvo Junior has co-worked with great artist of Cuban music like Ibrahim Ferrer, Omara Portuondo, Pio Leiva, Los Van Van ,Amadito Valdez and Barbarito Torres. He founds its own orchestra in the beginning of 2009, composed by various famous musicians Cuban-and European wide. He participates with his orchestra on his first international tour at “CUBAMEMUCHO” in Germany, one of Europe’s most important Cuban festivals, gaining great success and satisfactions by side of the public. His latest disco graphic successes are included on Latin music compilations and can be listened to in Italian, European and Latin-American discotheques.

Orchestra composed by professional musicians with Cuban and Europe wide fame. The repertoire includes various Latin geners like Timba, Salsa, Bachata, Cha cha cha, Salsaton etc.

He participates at his first international tour at the prestigious festival “Cubamemucho” in Germany. He brought his music in various countries like Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, Venezuela, Mexico, Slovakia, Polonia, Slovenia, Denmark etc, gaining a great success and satisfaction from the public.
